From 2022 to 2025

The project, coordinated by Help Code Onlus, aims to reduce the human impact on water, increasing the knowledge of citizens, especially the younger ones, through active learning paths.

The project aims to contribute to the development and strengthening of a concept of citizenship understood as belonging to the global community, through information, education and awareness-raising actions, in view of the sustainable development objectives of the UN Agenda 2030.

In particular, the project includes the following actions in 9 Italian regions (Liguria, Piedmont, Lombardy, Trentino Alto-Adige, Lazio, Tuscany, Umbria, Calabria, Sicily): 1) Training activities aimed at teachers and educators on the topics of sustainable development and global citizenship education; 2) Workshops for students aimed at strengthening their knowledge on the causes and effects of water pollution and their skills to promote sustainable development; 3) Actions aimed at citizens to make them aware of the negative consequences of the human impact on the natural environment, promoting correct behaviors to be adopted to reduce the negative impact on rivers, lakes and seas of the world.
